MESSENGER has consistently raised the bar on what professional independent Christian music should represent. The groups dedication to excellence, professionalism and God's annointing has defined this groups reputation as 'the best of the best' for over a decade.

Strong vocals; solid lyrics; hooks that you will be singing for days. Messenger began in Howell Michigan in early 1994, beginning as a light Christian rock band. With current members bringing classical, metal, alternative and rock backgrounds, Messenger continues to create music that meets the needs and demands of today's listeners. When music lovers attend a concert, they expect to hear the same things that they hear on the group's CD. Messenger agrees, so every performance is done at full production quality. Just as the top touring national acts do, Messenger uses seamless sequences to fill the complete range of instumentation that is part of their studio recordings. This can include: orchestras, synth/keyboards, special effects, and more. A Messenger concert is a high-energy, high-quality and memorable experience.

It has been the goal and desire of Messenger since its conception to present the gospel of Jesus Christ in a way that is entertaining, but more importantly, the truth of who God is and what He is capable of doing in a life that is yielded to Him. For more than a decade now, The members of Messenger have lived their message through music. Through personal performance, CD sales and radio airplay, this message spans the globe. This group truly strives to live out the great commission….to go and make Jesus known, to everyone!

Although messengers of the gospel, and its style of delivery, sometimes change, the gospel itself never changes. This group is determined that the message they bring will never change. Messenger is focused ..ing people see and believe that 'Christian music' is a powerful and valid method for reaching the lost, and that it demands more than mediocrity. This requires more from the group, but this is not a burden but an ingrained desire of each member. Messenger is committed to remaining obedient to the call of Christ, and as He has promised, He is showing His faithfulness and blessing them abundantly.

Members of MESSENGER have had the privilege of sharing the stage with several well-known artists, including Day of Fire, Petra, Switchfoot, 4HIM, KJ-52 and Nikki Leonti. Not only has MESSENGER ministered with major label artists, but some great indie artists such as Instereo, Crab Family Revival, and a 2007 tour stop with 7th Time Down and Broken Yoke at the Cross Roads Festival last summer. MESSENGER was chosen to play at the 2008 Big Ticket Festival in Gaylord, Michigan, and was a runner-up in the 2006 Kingdom Bound International Talent search, which adds to their existing reputation as a top-notch group of musicians.
