Adam McAbee has been known for his skills as the lead guitarist for The Cost. Adam and his friend, lead singer Clint Stevens, started what would be The Cost back in January of 2004. Their immediate goal was to play for churches, retreats, and youth groups, leading students and adults alike in worship. They were then joined by Seth Payne after 5 months. Seth having the same calling in his life made the perfect fit. Just a few short months after adding Seth, God chose to add drummer Josh Peugh and Bassist Mark Oswalt to create the band formerly known as Seven Faith.

In the spring of 2005, the path began to change for Adam. He chose to step out of the band to focus on spending quality time with his wife and two kids, and a year and a half later surrendered his life to the call of youth ministry! He has always had a passion for students and seeing them come to Christ, and soon realized the calling was much deeper! He is currently attending Liberty University via the Distance Learning Program, where he plans on getting his MDIV. Adam has spoken in front of high school and college students across the state of Texas and Oklahoma . Using a blend of multi-media and dynamic bible teaching, your students will absolutely fall in love with Jesus and understand that the Bible is FULL of real people at real places throughout history. Your students WILL experience a Christ-Centered change "from the inside out!"

Why is he doing this?  Simply because spreading God's word is what we as Christians are all called to do! (Matt. 28: 18-20).  Secondly, Adam knows this is what he was created to do, spreading a message of JOY, HOPE and LOVE. He desires to help people find and experience the JOY of allowing God to change them from the inside out! Adam has a dynamic way of presenting God's Word and helping students connect to the truths that are found in it.

What does he believe?

1) There is only ONE TRUE GOD. The basic GOOD NEWS of Jesus is found in John 17:3 "Now this is eternal life: that they may know You, the ONLY TRUE GOD, AND JESUS CHRIST, whom you have sent."
2) The BIBLE IS THE INSPIRED WORD OF GOD. The word of God is more than just a book of rules it is a book of life that brings HOPE for the lost and POWER to change the universe for the believer.
3) JESUS IS THE SON OF GOD. Jesus was born of a virgin birth conceived by the Holy Spirit. Jesus bore the sins of all men (2 Cor. 5:21) taking them to the cross bringing redemption for everyone willing to receive.  John 14:6 says He is the WAY, the TRUTH, and the LIFE, and that HE is the only way to the FATHER. He is preparing a place for believers and He will return to
receive His bride.
4) SALVATION IS FOR ALL MEN. God is drawing all men to himself. After all we were all created in His image. Though all may not believe in Him, that still does not change the fact that God loves them and desires to deliver them from the hand of the enemy.
